Building a Single Source of Truth for H1 Marketing Impact
One coherent view of a half-year of marketing, across every region, channel, and stakeholder.

Setup
Marketing activity at PubMatic was genuinely broad: events, PR, content, partnerships, webinars, thought leadership, spread across multiple regions and owned by different stakeholders. That breadth was a strength on the ground, but it meant nobody had one place to see what marketing had actually accomplished across the first half of the year. That made it hard to communicate impact upward, or to plan H2 with real evidence of what had worked.
My contribution
Owned the development and coordination of the H1 Marketing Impact Report, pulling performance data from regional marketing managers, event trackers, PR reports, and campaign dashboards.
Consolidated activity across events, PR, product marketing, customer engagement, partnerships, and regional campaigns into one coherent view.
Evaluated campaign reach, event performance, and regional activity to separate the genuine highlights from routine activity.
Converted the analysis into executive dashboards, timelines, and performance summaries: the actual narrative leadership used to understand H1, not a data dump.
Results
The report became leadership's single source of truth for H1 marketing performance: the reference point for communicating regional achievements, and for shaping H2 planning and recommendations.
Strategic read
01The hard part wasn't collecting the data.
It was deciding what counted as a genuine highlight versus routine activity, across teams who each, understandably, saw their own work as the most important thing that happened that half.
02One story, many stakeholders.
Building a consolidated report meant making judgment calls about what actually moved the business forward, and presenting that clearly enough that stakeholders across very different functions could see themselves in the same story.
